Presentation


Created by Eduardo Makaroff, argentinian, one of the fundators of the trio Gotan Project, Mañana is an enthusiastic supporter of the future of tango and other argentinian musics.
Tango has traveled a long way, from a past of extraordinary richness. Its future, however, is even more promising. The great potential of this cross-breeding music, is just starting to develop. Dozens, even hundreds of creators, inside Argentina and elsewhere, are revolutionising this kind of music.
On the banks of the river Plate, African blood mixed with Spanish, even more Italian and Jewish bloods: quite by chance, these shores of promise produced an exceptional concentration of talent. Out of the sharp minds and ardent hearts of the immigrants came tango, milonga, candombe and murga. These melodies and rhythms have survived the ups and downs of History to be more relevant today than ever before.
The passionate drive of the emergent composers and performers demands outlets for its expression.
Mañana is the response to this artistic demand.

El Gaucho Digital
El Gaucho Digital El Gaucho Digital is an audiovisual remix of “El Gaucho”, a film directed by Andrés Jarach whose original soundtrack is composed and produced by Christoph H. Müller & Eduardo Makaroff, two of the three Gotan Project fundators. El Gaucho Digital was created by two young argentinean artists, Leonardo Martinelli & Ian Kornfeld.


Representation on the occasion of the opening night of the Week of Argentine Cinema in Paris, after the projection of the movie El Gaucho, in the presence of the director Andrés Jarach.

Di Giusto new album « This record is like the fulfilment of a dream. The sound, the interprétation, there is a quality hère that I have been searching for for a long time ». Gerardo Di Giusto does not hide his pleasure in having crossed the path of Camerata Romeu, an all-female group of Cuban musicians. The subtle writing of the native of Coedoba, Argentina and the sensitive strings of Havana sounds like a mariage made in heaven.
